Dear Attendees, We hereby inform you that “Early Bird Tickets” are now sold out and that there will be a slight change to our Agenda for the City Careers Weekend day on Saturday. We are delighted to inform that Eugene O’Neill, equity portfolio manager at Canada Life Insurance Company will join Caio Natividade, Director of Cross Asset Quantitative Research at Deutsche Bank for a special panel called “Building an investment strategy”. Mr. O’Neill will talk about how he conducts fundamental analysis, designs investment strategies and builds equity portfolios. On the other hand, Mr. Natividade will show how to invest as a quantitative money manager. Students will therefore learn how quantitative analysis is different from fundamental analysis, what type of skills are required for these roles and what a LUMS student should focus on if they want to go into these sectors. Due to these changes the timetable for the day will look like this: Time Description 10:00 – 10:30 Student Registration 10:30 – 12:00 Introduction to Speakers and Women in Finance (Panel talk session) 12:00 – 12:30 Snacks and Refreshments Break 12:30 – 14:00 Investment Banking (Presentation & Panel talk session) 14:00 – 15:00 Lunch Break 15:00 – 16:30 Building an investment strategy – fundamental versus non-fundamental analysis (Presentation & Panel talk session) 16:30 – 17:30 Networking Break in Hub Café and CV Workshop Please be at LUMS Hub at 10am for the Student Registration, to collect your free entry to Elements band and your Welcome Pack sponsored by EY. Hot food and drinks will be served at 12:00 pm for the Refreshments Break. See you all there on Saturday. Best regards, LUIFS
